Darmstadt (pts046/21.07.2005/15:55) - The new release 4.0 of the groupware teamspace® provides new calendar functionalities to enable a flawless information exchange.
The Internet makes co-working of geographically spread work groups easier than ever. Web-based solutions like the groupware teamspace® by 5 POINT AG provide the necessary infrastructure for online communication, coordination and cooperation of virtual teams.
The success of teamspace is based on the smooth interaction of the various groupware modules. Experience shows that a joint calendar and a user-friendly interface are crucial to a team's success. Thus both the calendar and the interfaces are the cores of the new release 4.0, which is available since July 21st.
New in release 4.0
A new availability check in the calendar enables users to find, confirm and publish new appointments easily and quickly. All appointments can be displayed according to different categories or participants.
Serial dates, colored marks for entries and individual access rights are other highlights of the new teamspace calendar. Users can not only manage team dates, but parallel and separately also their personal appointments.
The new user-friendly interface results in faster and easier working. No matter whether it's file storage or project management: The clear structure of the new design facilitates orientation and overview within the various modules.
With the new release 4.0 teamspace also enhanced the work especially of international teams. Besides being available in multiple languages it features different date and time formats and all time zones. teamspace supports the UTF-8 standard. Entries in all international signs are thus possible.
