Quicker navigation with Opera 7.10
Linux beta equal to Windows edition

Oslo (pte034/11.04.2003/13:27) - Norwegian software producers Opera published the 7.10 version of their Opera browser today, Friday. The Windows edition of the news version is complete, but the Linux edition is only available as a beta.

The 7.10 version of Opera has two additional navigation buttons for "Fast Forward" and "Rewind", which are designed to speed up surfing. Opera now also has a cookie manager, a notes function and a special slideshow function http://www.opera.com/pressreleases/en/2003/04/11 .

The Linux edition of Opera 7.10 now has all the same functions as the edition for Windows. Linux users can now also more easily use the mouse for navigation and use the M2 e-mail client. The "Fast Forward" and "Rewind" functions try to predict which pages a surfer will try to access and prepares them in the background. The notes function can be used to make notes on websites and save them for later use or send them on via e-mail. The cookie manager allows users to select and delete individual cookies.

Opera users can now also change the mouse functions, navigation panel, and appearance of the program. Opera 7.10 is available for free (with advertising) and or for 39 dollars (without advertising).
