Zurich, Switzerland (ptp031/25.03.2019/14:00) - The artistic career of the Bielefeld-based artist began as early as the 90s, when she decided, after graduating, to study art history. A few years later she found herself working as a freelance artist, which soon led to her first exhibitions.
Through the skilful use of abstract forms and interesting, strong colours, Edith Boge succeeds in quickly attracting the viewer's attention. "My works want to communicate, make people think, arouse emotions, shake and move," explains the artist. Her works leave plenty of room for discussion through their abstract appearances and are able to inspire people to interpret and philosophize.
"It's all about creating an optical and emotional dialogue between the viewer and the picture. My pictures should create contrast-rich views and put contemporary thoughts into exciting perspectives," says Edith Boge. When looking at the works, one can also see the passion that Edith Boge brings to her artistic process. The radiated energy of these unique works immerses one in an invisible reality of various signs, traces and forms.
In her new art catalogue Edith Boge presents a variation of 18 works from her artistic oeuvre. Among others, works like "BLUE REFLECTION" or "YELLOW CONNECTION" are presented. Thanks to the very high quality printing, the works presented are shown to their best advantage and make you want more. The catalogue will also be shown at the Swiss arts festival SWISSARTEXPO in Zurich.
The exhibition will take place from 15 to 19 August 2019 in the SBB Event Hall - around 400,000 visitors are expected. All art lovers are cordially invited to view Edith Boge's new art catalogue live in Zurich during this time.
