In December 2005 pressetext.europe conducted a broad online survey among our readers to actively involve them in the continuing development of our news agency. They were asked to evaluate the content of our news and services, as well as their design and user-friendliness.
A total of 1,427 pressetext.europe readers took part in the survey. The results were positive: a total of 99 % of our readers were more than pleased with the offers on our website, and 46 % rated our services with "excellent".
The survey also permitted us to gather some demographic data on pressetext.europe readers. The primary target group of the website is journalists (28.5 %). Our services are also directed at opinion leaders in all of the major business sectors. 27 % of our readers are in management positions, 85 % are high school graduates and 57 % have a university degree.
In total, 70 % of our readers are male and 30 % are female. The strong appeal of our website is reflected in the fact that 53 % of visitors log on to a pressetext.europe page at least once a day, and 7 % log on several times daily.
